While soccer isn’t a big deal here in the U.S., there’s a growing number of people from all walks of life who are playing the FIFA Soccer franchise this side of the pond. FIFA Soccer 12 Matchups is a series of short films that bring to life the reason for the game’s increasing popularity and its fun-loving subculture. Each Matchup pits celebrity athletes—each an authentic FIFA lover—against one another and gives viewers a firsthand look at just how competitive, snarky and downright entertaining FIFA Soccer matches can be. In the first month alone, the films amassed more than two million views combined.
