SEEING MUSIC
Growing up in Brazil during the mid 80’s I was luck to have great access to tapes of some amazing foreigner punk and metal bands like Rattus, English Dogs, Dead Kennedys, New Model Army, Circle Jerks, Bad Religion, Black Flag, Bad Brains, Capitol Punishment and many others. The audio would get to us, but we had limit access to images related to this incredible artists. A photo or a cover art from one of these bands would spark my imagination. I was a music fan hungry for visual clues. In 2000 I moved to America and I got access to all the shows that once I dreamed, I got a cheap camera and started shooting all my concert experiences. After almost 20 I am finally curating and publishing these material. Welcome to “General Admission.”
